Department of Pediatric Neurology
We are experts in treating a broad range of pediatric disorders affecting brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerve and muscle, which cause various symptoms, such as seizure, development delay, headache and disturbance of motor function. These neurological diseases include febrile seizure, epilepsy, mental retardation, migraine, neurocutaneous syndromes, movement and neuromuscular disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, etc.
With advanced diagnostic examinations, we aim to make the correct diagnosis in order to provide optimal treatment. For example, we apply 24-hour video EEG monitoring system for patients with intractable epilepsy or paroxysmal movement disorders. We also work closely together with many other specialists in our center to offer comprehensive services especially for severely handicapped children.
