The Department deals with issues related to emotional and mental development of children
 In addition to the children themselves, we also provide consultations with caregivers on the developmental, emotional, and behavioral aspects of children. The medical staff has a doctor and a psychologist, and we have been conducting medical care as a team since the first visit. Many problems in children's minds cannot be solved by medical care. If necessary, we will coordinate the environment in cooperation with relevant organizations such as welfare, education, and health. 
Major target diseases
・ Developmental problems and behavioral problems associated with developmental disorders, etc.
 ・ Symptoms that seem to be related to some psychological problems such as psychosomatic disorders and anxiety symptoms ・ Development, emotional and behavioral problems in children with physical illnesses such as chronic diseases ・ Problems related to parent-child relationships such as child care anxiety, inappropriate child rearing, and abuse of caregivers
Main tests and treatments 
At the time of the first visit, we will ask you in detail about the progress of the consultation, the history of the child's growth, and the current state at home and school. It will take about 2-3 hours, so please understand. 
< Tests> Development and intelligence tests and psychological tests by psychologists are conducted. 
< treatment> medication, psychotherapy, environmental adjustment, child psychotherapy, parental counseling, etc. 
In 2020, there were 511 initial patients. By disease, there were about 370 developmental disorders, about 120 psychosomatic disorders, and about 5 mental disorders.
