Patient Support Center
About us
The Patient Support Center at Osaka Women’s and Children’s Hospital was established in August 2014 as a general counter to support patients in a variety of ways. A multidisciplinary staff team including doctors, nurses, midwives, medical social workers, psychologists, public health nurses, pharmacists, and office staff work together to ensure that patients receive the best medical care. We also collaborate with many local medical institutions, public health centers, schools, and other organizations to support patients and their families so that they can live with peace in mind in the community or at home.
We provide a wide range of services, including general consultation for patients with a focus on psychological and social support, pre-hospital visit support such as reception of patient referrals from medical institutions and report to referring institution, support at the time of admission and discharge, and post-discharge support such as home medical care and transitional care.
